Fly fishing for trout and grayling on Panshanger Park near Hertford, Panshanger Anglers is a small syndicate with access to three lakes and a stretch of the River Mimram.

Panshanger Park is a 400 hectare Historic Park and Garden, registered at Grade II by English Heritage much of the which was created by Humphry Repton in the late 18th century, with other parts previously landscaped by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown

Formerly gravel extraction sites, the three landscaped lakes; Riverside Lake, Kings Lake and Osprey Lake are fed by springs and are regularly stocked with rainbow and brown trout.

The River Mimram is an iconic English chalk stream flowing through the park and holding a precious head of brown trout and grayling.

Wildlife abounds with coots, great crested grebes, kingfishers, barn owls, buzzards, little grebes, foxes, deer and many more.
